Atlanta has never needed someone else’s tradition.
Some traditions are earned.
Others are inherited.
What we wave becomes part of what we pass down.
Game day traditions are remembered, repeated, and handed from one generation of fans to the next.
A white flag has long been recognized as a signal of truce or surrender. On game day, we’re asking it to mean the opposite.
That symbolism doesn’t reflect the city or the fans raising it.
If we’re creating a tradition for Atlanta, shouldn’t the symbol reflect who we are?
We want to move beyond the white flag and create a game-day symbol that feels unmistakably Atlanta.
ATLANTA HAS NEVER

A city that rebuilt.
A city that marched.
A city that created culture the world followed.
So why are we waving something that says nothing about us?

A symbol that means something here.
Something unmistakably Atlanta.
The goal is simple: work with Falcons fans and the organization to create a new game-day tradition born here, built for Atlanta, and worthy of being passed down.

A city that knows how to rise deserves a symbol built to soar.
