A fan-led movement for Atlanta Falcons game day.

WHY WAVE WHITE?

The energy in the stadium says fight.
The symbol in our hands says surrender.

We’re building support to retire the white flag from Falcons game day – and create something unmistakably Atlanta in its place.

The white flag became part of Falcons game day. Why Wave White is asking whether it should remain there.

Some traditions are earned.
Others are inherited.

What we wave becomes part of what we pass down.

A white flag is one of the most universally recognized symbols of surrender or truce.

Falcons fans are asking it to mean the opposite: fight, belief, energy, defiance.

Those ideas deserve a better symbol.

Our first goal is simple: retire the white flag from Falcons game day.

ATLANTA HAS NEVER

BEEN SHORT ON

IDENTITY.

A city that rebuilt.

A city that marched.

A city that created culture the world followed.

A city this distinctive shouldn’t need a symbol of surrender to show its support.

FIRST, RETIRE THE WHITE FLAG.
THEN, CREATE SOMETHING OURS.

A tradition born here.

A symbol that means something here.

Something unmistakably Atlanta.

Why Wave White is not proposing a finished replacement.

We believe what comes next should be created with Falcons fans and the organization – something born here, meaningful here, and unmistakably Atlanta.

The white flag is the problem. What replaces it should belong to all of us.

WHY I STARTED THIS

I’m Roberto Torreggiani, a Falcons season ticket holder. For years, I watched thousands of us wave white flags to rally the team and couldn’t get past the contradiction: the energy in the stadium said fight; the symbol in our hands said surrender.

Eventually, I stopped wondering about it and started asking a different question:

If Atlanta is going to build a tradition, why shouldn’t it be one that actually represents us?

IMAGINE SOMETHING THAT COULD ONLY BELONG TO ATLANTA.

A city that knows how to rise deserves a symbol built to soar.

ONE CITY. ONE TEAM. ONE SYMBOL.

A diverse, multigenerational Atlanta football crowd celebrating beneath sweeping red and black fabric in a packed stadium on a sunny game day.

ATLANTA, LET’S RETIRE THE WHITE FLAG.

If you believe Falcons fans deserve a game-day symbol that represents fight instead of surrender – and a tradition created for Atlanta instead of inherited from somewhere else – join us.

Help show there is support for creating something better.

No spam. Just the movement.
